Websites

Using American Psychological Association (APA) Format (Updated to 6th Edition) - A very good website!

This site from Purdue’s Online Writing Lab (OWL) is a helpful guide to using APA style. The site’s best feature is its inclusion of many examples: formatting a paper, in text citations, and creating a Reference List.

Citation Machine

An interactive Internet tool which generates citations in standard MLA, APA and Chicago formats. Citations are produced from a Web form that can be completed with information for a resource type selected from a list of print and electronic resources.

Research & Documentation Online

An excellent resource from Bedford/St. Martin's publisher. This site offers links to documentation information for MLA, APA, Chicago and CBE. It is organized by major discipline area. Clicking on the major discipline, the user receives an overview to conducting research in that area. The site also offers worthwhile links to scholarly Internet resources. A glossary of library and Internet terms is also available through this site at the far left side of the page.
